We work with you up front to determine the ideal profile of a partner firm or acquisition candidate. Using our extensive database, we will then search for and identify target companies based on SIC code, location, revenue, number of employees, etc.

A short list of target companies is agreed upon and then carefully scripted, friendly-toned letters are sent to the owner or CEO. These letters introduce Cura as a retained consultant and include a request for a short 15-20 minute telephone meeting. This is to explore their interest in an "alliance or partnership" with our discrete client.

Prior to the screening meeting, we develop and agree upon a list of screening questions to further qualify the prospect. Upon completion of the screening, the information is reviewed with the client and an agreement is reached on the next steps. For example: non-disclosure agreements, face-to-face discussions, D&B searches, etc.

When we have narrowed the funnel of opportunities from several hundred to a few really high potential candidates, clients can then concentrate their efforts on developing the relationship and closing the right deal with Cura support as required on a case-by-case basis!
